This class has a more innovative and luxurious design, different than the other Norwegian cruise ships. She is a lovely ship, with a bigger Haven, more infinity pools on the side of the ship, Go-karts and a nice Marketplace. This ship is perfect for a family cruise, there are so many fun activities around the ship.
She was launched in 2022 and the Viva came afterwards she is the sister ship.
The new Aqua who came out recently is the new Prima Plus Class and in 2026 will follow the new Luna, different on these two ships is the size it will slightly increase and there is a aqua slight coaster.

The Haven on the Prima is on the back of the ship and gives you breathtaking views, the sundeck has now two stories including a infinity pool and hottub. There is an exclusive elevator for Haven guests.

There is an indulge food hall the marketplace on deck 8 on the back of the ship, with gives you fantastic views. You order from an ipad and you can order per portion and share the food. It is Asian style and also South American orientated. and you can sit inside or outside. Here you can order taco's, indian food, noodles, salades, BBQ meat or desserts. It's very relaxed to eat here, we really enjoyed having our lunches here.

The shows on the Prima are amazing, they have the Donna Summer broadway musical and the high energy show called Noise Boys. The sportbar O'sheehans is also on the Prima like many of the known specialty restaurants that are on most of the other Norwegian cruise line ships. This ship had several slides called: the Wave a free fall waterslide, the Drop a capsule dry slide where you fall down and a the Rush a side by side slide where you compete with someone.

There are in total more than 20 restaurants, 11 specialty restaurants, 5 compimentary restaurants and more than 5 casual and quick and eat places. This ship has 11 bars and 7 lounges to get comfortably around the ship.
